The expressive arts can help us explore emotions and experiences through a variety of creative outlets when words are hard to find.

Expressive art activities are meant to be gentle and gradual in their depth. I do not provide a diagnosis or psychotherapy during the practice. I simply guide you to forge your own creative experience that supports your healing and growth through a trauma-informed lens. No one is "grading" your art - you're just building creative tools for emotional regulation and processing.

There is no "right or wrong" way to engage in the expressive arts. We begin sometimes with a prompt, a particular tool or medium, or simply a feeling or memory that's living inside of us. Then, we let our body, mind, and soul guide the process as it unfolds.

Art making with a focus on process over product helps us to remember that play and curiosity aren't just for children. All beings need creative, playful outlets that aid in stress reduction and overall physical and mental wellness.

Integrated with gentle yoga and somatic practices, expressive art can offer a holistic, multi-modal practice that balances the body, mind and soul.

Work with me to create a unique experience for your work wellness programs, yoga retreats, or a small group. We'll identify your goals and how you want to integrate yoga and expressive art into your life!
