Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice targeting deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints) rather than muscles, typically holding passive poses for 3-5 minutes. Yin improves flexibility, enhances joint mobility, and supports greater interoceptive awareness. Overall, the practice calms the nervous system.
